LOCAL BAND: QUITO, ECUADOR: MUNN

I'm back with another local Ecaudorian band from the alternative music scene. This band is called MUNN. This band formed in 2008 in Quito, Ecuador. 

This band is influenced by the TRIP HOP genre of the 90s (Massive Attack, Portishead), downtempo and electronica. Their first album is called Espirales and it came out in 2012. This followed with a video for the song “En la oscuridad” At the beginning of 2104 MUNN have been a part of the most important festivals in Ecuador.

In March of the same year, they pend 4 days in an area filled with open nature as use of their recording studio. They record new songs. This results in a new album called AQUI / AHORA. They are in the process of recording their third album.
